SFU SE3
The SE3P building in Surrey—one of BC’s fastest-growing municipalities—houses Mechatronics labs and the new Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engineering program. The 20,458 sq.m. facility serves over 800 students, faculty, and staff, providing space for research, innovation, and commercialization. Supported by the City of Surrey, the project was fast-tracked as part of the City Centre’s revitalization and future expansion efforts.
Conceptual artwork was developed during the early phases of the project, contributing to the visual identity and design narrative of the space. These initial concepts laid the groundwork for later design development and integration within the building.
This project received national recognition, awarded the title of Best Freestanding Sign in Canada.
