The SFU Applied Sciences Building revitalization began as a rehabilitation project but evolved into a full redevelopment after the existing façade was found to require complete replacement. The upgraded design reconfigured administrative and teaching spaces, introduced collaborative learning areas, and incorporated a new energy-efficient envelope that reflects the campus aesthetic and supports SFU’s sustainability goals.

Signage for the building was developed using the standardized interior sign system previously created, ensuring visual and functional consistency across the entire SFU campus.
