A donor recognition panel honoring Madge Hogarth was placed in the garden space of Simon Fraser University’s newest residence community. This peaceful area, with integrated seating, offers a quiet contrast to the lively, student-oriented environment. The residence supports SFU’s Housing Master Plan by promoting inclusion, social connections, and flexible spaces that link academic and residential life.

The conceptual design for the donor panel and signage was developed to fit well with the garden planters and seating elements. The design focused on providing a respectful recognition experience that matched the surrounding landscape and supported the project's overall vision of connection and community.
